Untraceable by Shelli Johannes-Wells: Cover Reveal Part 4

All this week, we’re helping Vania Stoyanova and Shelli Johannes-Wells share photos from their cover shoot for Shelli’s new book, Untraceable. Shelli is also posting behind the scenes shots at her blog!

You can see Monday,  Tuesday & Wednesday’s posts on why they decided not to use those covers. Go take a peek and let them know what you think of those covers …

And here is another photo — that is NOT the cover — and a new excerpt from Untraceable. The real cover will be revealed on FRIDAY!

Even though I can’t see, I pinch my eyelids together to block out the pending scene, preparing for the worst. My other senses are heightened. I swear, I can hear every little bug skittering through the leaves while Al and Billy whisper behind me.

Then everything goes quiet.

The silence is shattered by shuffling and grunting noises followed by a primal wail.

This time, it’s not mine.

And here’s what Vania had to say about this cover:

I loved this image so much! At the end of the day it was just too “pretty” for our cover. Our heroine is strong and we wanted the cover to convey a sense of strength and edge. Come back tomorrow to see the final cover. I hope you like it as much as we did!

For the comments: Tell us what you think of this mock cover! Tune in tomorrow for the real thing.
