Kimberly Derting: “My YA Book Recommendations”

Once again, Kimberly Derting is guest blogging today — this time to talk about some books she loves. So when you’re done reading HER books, here are some others you might want to pick up:

If you’ve read my blog recently, you know I have several books on my I’d-give-a- kidney-for list. Unfortunately, that list is ever-growing, and there are far more books I want to read than there are hours in a year.

In case you were wondering, here are some more of the books I’m dying to get my hands on:

City Of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare. Yes, aren’t we all?  And what’s up with no ARCs???  I was hoping to use my author superpowers to get an early copy (totally not gonna happen!).

The Gathering by Kelley Armstrong.  How much do I love that her new series is set in British Columbia? That’s practically right next door to me.  Actually, it IS right next door to me.  (Geography may not be my strong suit!)

The Near Witch by Victoria Schwab.  I’ve heard some really good things so far, and I’m definitely intrigued.

The Demon’s Surrender by Sarah Rees Brennan.  Two words: more Nick!

And last, but definitely not least, the next installment in the Beautiful Creatures series by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.  These ladies can WRIIIIIITE!

Oh, and there is a rumor** going around that Kami will be typing with BOTH hands this time around. (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, watch their video here.)

** Fine, I just started this rumor but let’s see how quickly we can spread it!!!
