T. M. Logan was born in Berkshire to an English father and a German mother. He studied at Queen Mary and Cardiff universities before becoming a national newspaper journalist. He currently works in communications and lives in Nottinghamshire with his wife and two children. LIES is his first novel.

What makes a book so good I can’t put it down, is when characters I care about are in danger/trying to solve a mystery with high stakes facing them, including their own or someone else’s peril.
An intriguing book with a well written plot keeps me from putting the book down.
interesting characters
I think it’s when the action/suspense never stops. Or when you start to relate or like the character, you get intrigued.
It can vary, but mostly something that grabs my attention and keeps me interested.
Exciting storyline
I like a suspenseful book where it has twists and turns that I don’t expect.
A gripping plotline makes it hard to stop reading.
