When the publishers of the official Minecraft guide books reached out for a review of their latest, Minecraft: The Survivors’ Book of Secrets, I knew there was only one person who could tackle such a request. My husband. Before we dive into his thoughts on the book, here is the official description:

This book has a lot of good information that isn’t readily available in other start-up guides, like monster data and ways to avoid them, as well as new information on some of the updates that Mojang has released recently for the game.

I love the creativity that Minecraft affords me, and the challenge of survival mode. My game play for more of the advanced areas and strategies has improved since reading Minecraft: The Survivors’ Book of Secrets, and I’ve noticed that I’m able to get farther in the game easier having read and gone through the tips in the book.

This book is perfect for users that have gotten the hang of basic Minecraft tactics, but want to take their game to the next level. A lot of more experienced players will find the information in this book really useful. They have a section on innovative traps that even I hadn’t thought of or heard about before.
