Cover Reveal: Just Another Girl by Elizabeth Eulberg

Today, I am SO excited & honored to be bringing you the exclusive cover reveal for Just Another Girl by Elizabeth Eulberg. I’m a huge fan of Elizabeth’s, and she’ll always have a special place in my heart, since she’s one of the first authors I ever worked with directly when we first launched Novel Novice (right around the same time Elizabeth’s first book was published). In fact, it was pretty exciting back in May at BEA when Elizabeth & I finally met in person for the FIRST TIME EVER, after working together over email for 6+ years!

The cover for Just Another Girl may be one of my favorite covers ever — it’s seriously so cool. Before we get to the big reveal, here’s a note from Elizabeth about the cover and Just Another Girl:

I became fascinated by Rube Goldberg machines after watching an OK Go video a few years ago and decided to have a character in my next book build them. These crazy contraptions make a very simple task extremely difficult by having lots of complicated obstacles along the way. And well….isn’t that life? We all have many different things that can trip us up from time to time. That’s certainly true for the characters at the heart of Just Another Girl. So it was only fitting that a Rube Goldberg machine be featured on the cover. I hope you like it and can’t wait for you to meet Hope and Parker in April.

And now … THE COVER!

Isn’t that so great! Oh, but it gets better. Take a look at the full jacket artwork for a real good look at the Rube Goldberg machine that makes up the title (you can click to view it larger):

Just Another Girl no text

about-the-book

You resent her. You can’t stand her. You might even hate her.

But you don’t know her at all.

Hope knows there’s only one thing coming between her and her longtime crush: his girlfriend, Parker. She has to sit on the sidelines and watch as the perfect girl gets the perfect boy . . . because that’s how the universe works, even though it’s so completely wrong.

Parker doesn’t feel perfect. She knows if everyone knew the truth about her, they’d never be able to get past it. So she keeps quiet. She focuses on making it through the day with her secret safe . . . even as this becomes harder and harder to do. And Hope isn’t making it any easier. . . .

In Just Another Girl, Elizabeth Eulberg astutely and affectingly shows us how battle lines get drawn between girls – and how difficult it then becomes to see or understand the girl standing on the other side of the divide.

You think you have an enemy. But she’s just another girl.
