Hi, Sara
This is a really generous giveaway!
Lots of cool titles.
Good luck to all!
It’s hard to say what qualities I enjoy most in a good book. I read quite a lot. It depends on the book. Sometimes it is the characters. Sometimes it is the plot.
It has to have gone through good editing. I’m not a fan of books with a number of mistakes unless it’s an ARC. The story has to be captivating but not genere specific. I think it’s really about how the writer unfolds the story.
I love great characters and relationships. If I don’t like the characters or want to support them, then it’s hard for me to like a book. It also has to have an engaging plot and good writing. And a great romance doesn’t hurt!
The qualities I look most for in a book are relatable characters as well as an interesting setting whether it be fictional or historical.
Top 5 books that are perfect for spring time:
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover
The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh
Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
Beautiful Chances by Alicia Rae
These are amazing books!!! Most are on my TBR list 🙂 🙂 🙂
A good romance is a must!
I love a good emotional book. I purposely look for something that will break my heart.
What a fantastic giveaway! So excited for this. Thank you!
A book that I can get lost in and forget the real world for a few hours.
I love a good fantasy book with a bit of romance.
I love a really exciting story, full of loveable characters and a facinating setting 🙂
My fave books to read in the Spring:
Graceling by Kristin Cashore
All the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling
Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
Anna and the French Kiss by Sephanie Perkins
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han 🙂
If I can’t put it down! I *have* to know what happens next.
Thank you for the giveaway!
What really makes a good book for me is the characters, if I hate the characters, the book won’t work for me. Five books for springtime: Chronicles of Nick series, absolutely anything by Jennifer Armentrout, the Splintered series by A. G. Howard, Sarah Maas books, and lastly How My Summer Went up in Flames by Jennifer Doktorski, it’s so so funny.
A perfect book draws you in and makes you forget where the time has gone….
It’s a toss up between the characters and the world building. Both are my go to feels for a book though 🙂
Harry Potter
The Summer series by Jenny Han
Just Listen by Sarah Dessen
Anna, Lola, Isla by Stephanie Perkins
The Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld
What an amazing giveaway! Thank you so much! I loooove tote bags (and books of course), so my fingers are really crossed!
Thank you so much for this amazing giveaway! I love tote bags (and books of course), so my fingers are really crossed!
If a book is quirky or deals with real life issues that teens face every day, then most likely I’m going to like it. I also enjoy books that can give me a good scare!
I like books that are character-driven or have quirky characters. I also like books that have some good suspense thrown into the plot or a great plot twist.
My favorite Spring books are:
The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
Wonder by Raquel J. Palacio
The Once and Future King by T H White
Looking for Alaska by John Green
A solid romance is a must for me!
My reading tastes really don’t change season by season, but I can name the top 5 books I’m looking forward to! 🙂
A Court of Mist and Fury, Heart of Darkness, With Malice, Shallow Graves, and The Dark Days Club!
Characters. If you have characters that are not interesting at all, something that I can, not relate to, but understand a bit, then it doesn’t matter what your story is about.
Eeek! My computer just spazzed and I entered the wrong giveaway link in the rafflecopter!! SO sorry!!
Great giveaway!!! I like to revisit the Harry Potter series usually in the spring. Richelle Mead and Cassandra Clare are ones I revisit in the spring as well. Many new books come out in the spring and I just read Richelle Mead’s Glittering Court and discovered Mary Weber’s Storm Siren series.
I really enjoy a book that has a well-developed plot that makes me wanting to read more and a writing style that is either really enticing.
My favorite spring books are: SINCE YOU’VE BEEN GONE, TO ALL THE BOYS I’VE LOVED BEFORE, SHATTER ME, ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS, and THIS IS WHAT HAPPY LOOKS LIKE.
There are so many things! Good writing and descriptions, certain authors, storyline, etc. 🙂
These Broken Stars
Percy Jackson’s Greek Gods
Solitaire
The Mortal Instruments
The Raven Cycle
🙂
I look for character development and a plot that makes the reader want to cheer them on. I am also more likely to read series because you can delve deeper into the author’s world.
My 5 favorite books I have read this spring are Titans, A Study in Charlotte, Passenger, Yonder, and my next read I know I will love is Outlander!
