In our September Book of the Month Anne & Henry, author Dawn Ius reimagines the infamous love story between Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn in a modern day high school. Sounds crazy, but it works!
So with that in mind, for this month’s writing contest, we want YOU to rewrite history.
The Contest
Pick a significant moment from history & imagine it set in current times. You can either write a short snippet from this modern retelling, OR you can describe how you would retell this story in a contemporary setting.
Please keep your entries between 250-500 words, and submit them using the Rewriting History Contest Form here.
The Prize
Two winners will each receive a finished copy of Anne & Henry courtesy of Simon & Schuster. We might also throw in some fun swag from the author herself!
