My favorite book to movie adaptation is the Harry Potter series.
Happy 5 year Anniversary. 🙂
divergent and insurgent are both books I’ve wanted to read but havent got around to it yet.
I feel like everyone will say this but, Hunger Games was probably my favorite book to movie adaption. They stayed very true to the book unlike most book to movie films.
Loved If I Stay.
My favorite book-to-movie all time is One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Thanks for the chance to win this great prize.
I really enjoyed Ender’s Game adaption into a movie!
My favorite book-to-movie adaption is Interview With A Vampire. Although a few elements of the book were left out of the movie, the acting was phenomenal all around and the plot was captivating, even though I already knew what was going to happen.
There are lots and lots. If I really like a movie I’ll find out if it was based on a book and then read the book. The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullough has always been a favorite.
Harry Potter because it’s so magical, but I have to say Divergent is an impressive adaptation. It follows the book very well.
The Notebook was probably my favorite. The book was okay, but I felt like the movie did a better job of bringing the characters to life and really relaying the emotion.
My favorite book-to-movie adaption is The Fault in Our Stars and Harry Potter. A lot of details stayed the same going from book to movie involving TFiOS. Harry Potter is just enjoyable to both read and watch.
Favorite book-to-movie adaptation This How I Live Now.
The Harry Potter book have to be my favorite book-to-movie adaption!
I found Catching Fire made a pretty good movie. I read the trilogy a few years before the first movie came out and I always thought Katniss was too freaked out for too long in Book 2 (and Book 3) so I was glad to see that aspect tuned down in the movie.
pride and prejudice
The Lord of the Rings & Harry Potter!
Harry Potter and Divergent! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
Harry Potter
The Twilight series.
Thanks for the chance to win!
The Princess Bride!!!!
Favorite adaptation, hmm…Love the Harry Potter movies, especially #1, but I think my all time favorite is Persuasion by Jane Austen starring Amanda Root and Ciaran Hinds.
The Hunger Games is my favorite
My favorite book to movie adaption I would have to say is There is a Monster in My Closet. I really loved reading this book to my children and when this tape came out we bought it. We watched it until it broke.
My favorite book to movie adaption is There is a Nightmare in My Closet. I used to read this story to my children all the time. When the tape came out we bought it and watched it all the time, so much it fact, the tape broke.
My favorite book-to-movie adaptation so far has been The Hunger Games. They added scenes that were not in the book, but that only enriched the experience for the readers. Their marketing of these movies has also been excellent and I’ve been pleased.
To be honest, it’s a tie between Harry Potter and The Hunger Games. I choose Harry Potter though.
My favorite book-to-movie is The Hunger Games.
My favorite book-to-movie adaptation is definitely The Lord of the Rings.
My favorite movie adaption has to be If I Stay!
The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit! Unfortunately haven’t read the LOTR series, but I have read The Hobbit, and they did an amazing job. Thanks for the giveaway 😀
A book-to-movie adaption that’s well known is LOTR. I love those save the time differences, but it’s not like they did Percy Jackson. Ugh. Also, something that not many people consider is a memoir adapted movie, Memoirs of a Geisha… but well… 🙂
My favorite book to movie adaptation has to be Catching Fire, (and my least favorite… Percy Jackson Movie.. UGH)
