Another kind of anniversary today …

We’re in the midst of celebrating our 5-year-anniversary here at Novel Novice right now, but today is another major milestone for me … it’s my one-year wedding anniversary!

Exactly one year ago today, my husband & I tied the knot at Timberline Lodge on Oregon’s Mt. Hood, and what a dreamy day it was. Beautiful blue skies, mild temperatures (yes, in January! On a mountain!), and surrounded by our nearest and dearest friends and family members.

The past year has been a big adventure, and we’ve come so far together in such a short amount of time. I truly believe I can do anything with Derek by my side. I can’t wait to see what else the future has in store for us!
