Unbreakable by Kami Garcia: Ghostly Writing Contest

With Halloween coming up, and our October Book of the Month being Unbreakable by Kami Garcia, we thought ghosts would be the perfect inspiration for this month’s writing contest! Read on for details …

The Contest

Write a 250-500 word story that is, in some way, about ghosts. Be creative in how you incorporate ghosts into your story — it does not have to be a “ghost story” necessarily. Be sure to use proper grammar and spelling, then submit your story using the Novel Novice + Unbreakable Ghostly Writing Contest Entry Form.

The Prize

One (1) winner will receive an Unbreakable prize pack courtesy of Little Brown, including a finished copy of the book and other goodies.

The Rules

• One entry per person
• U.S. only
• Use proper grammar and spelling
• Must be between 250-500 words
• Use the entry form

The Deadline

All entries are due by midnight (PT) on Thursday, October 31st.
