Cover Reveal: Dance of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin

Today we’ve got a real treat for you … the exclusive cover reveal for Dance of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin.

This is the hotly-anticipated sequel to Masque of the Red Death, which we loved so much we made it our Book of the Month earlier this year. Dance of the Red Death picks up where the first book left off — and guess what? There are only two books in this series, so you’ll get to find out the stunning conclusion to this story in the second book.

Without further ado now … here is the cover for Dance of the Red Death:

Isn’t that fabulous? I love the way it plays off the same feel as the first book, but bringing in that eerie purple hue. I can’t wait to get my hands on this book! Check out both covers side-by-side:

Here is the official catalog description for Dance of the Red Death:

The sequel to Masque of the Red Death, which Melissa Marr called, “Haunting and beautiful.” Araby Worth is poised either to save her city, or to abandon it. In a novel that embodies dark, sexy, tragic, and fearless, Bethany Griffin concludes her incredible, atmospheric reimagining of Edgar Allan Poe’s classic short story.
Araby Worth’s city is on fire. Her brother is dead. Her best friend could be soon. Her mother is a prisoner, her father is in hiding. And the two boys who stole her heart have both betrayed her. But Araby has found herself, and she is going to fight back. Inspired by one of Edgar Allan Poe’s most compelling stories, “The Masque of the Red Death,” Bethany Griffin has spun two sultry and intricate novels about a young woman who finds herself on the brink of despair but refuses to give in. Decadent masquerades, steamy stolen moments, and sweeping action are set in a city crumbling from neglect and tragedy. A city that seeps into your skin. Dance of the Red Death is the riveting conclusion to the dark and fascinating saga of an unforgettable heroine.

  1. It’s gorgeous! It’s a beautiful compliment to the first book which I loved! Can’t wait for this one.:)

  2. I so totally knew it was going to be purple. I distinctly remember finishing the book, sitting there catatonic for a few minutes like I do after finishing a good book, and then later telling my best friend that the sequel would be purple. It’s exactly what I pictured… Except for the fan. What’s with that. Otherwise it’s awesome!
