The Saturday Post: Pottermore, New Books, Videos & More

* Attention Harry Potter fans! We are thrilled to share that Pottermore plans to open to everyone starting in early April … that’s next month! Wands at the ready!

* We are so, so, so excited to share the news that A Good Boy is Hard to Find by Suzanne Young is now available as an e-book! This is the third & previously unreleased final book in Suzanne’s Naughty List series. These books are a far cry thematically from Suzanne’s other book currently in release, A Need So Beautiful — but we adore these bubbly, funny-loving books about cheerleaders who spy on cheating boyfriends.

Here is the official synopsis for A Good Boy is Hard to Find:

Tessa Crimson’s the sweet and spunky leader of the SOS (Society of Smitten Kittens), a cheer squad-turned-spy society dedicated to bringing dastardly boyfriends to justice, one cheater at a time. But after her center-court split with her boyfriend Aiden, Tessa has had to reevaluate her role in the SOS, and her closest friendships.

Now it’s the semester leading up to the state championships, and the Smitten Kittens have admitted their former nemesis Chloe Ferril to the squad. So when the cheerleaders are exposed as the SOS and humiliated by the football team, they have to wonder: Is Chloe a true kitten or a saboteur?

Now Tessa must again tease out the truth while navigating her own less than strawberry smoothie love life. Should the squad continue to catch cheating boyfriends and bring them to justice? Or have they really been using sleuthing as a romantic crutch?

You can also get the first two books as e-books, as well: The Naughty List and So Many Boys.

* Planning to read Cat Girl’s Day Off by Kimberly Pauley? We sure are! And we’re gearing up for an awesome feature on the book in May. But if you pre-order your copy now or purchase it the first week it’s out next month, Kim has a very special offer for you!

* Want to win some awesome books?! Our friend Sonia Gensler, author of The Revenant, is running a sweet contest. It’s open internationally, too!

* The official teaser-trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 will debut in theaters with The Hunger Games during its opening weekend, but the official Twilight Saga Facebook/Twitter accounts are promising a sneak peek on March 20th. They’ve shared this photo to tantalize you:

* Speaking of The Hunger Games … another new TV spot and another new clip:

* This week, we learned that Thomas Mann had been cast as Link in the Beautiful Creatures movie, AND we got the cover for Beautiful Redemption, the fourth & presumably final book in the series:

* And finally, you may have seen this meme trolling around on YouTube lately, the “Sh*t XYZ People Say” videos. Well, now there’s one for writers, created by some of our favorite YA authors:

Authors featured in the video are: Tessa Gratton, Natalie Parker, Brenna Yovanoff, Carrie Ryan, Beth Revis, Jackson Pearce, Victoria Schwab, Valerie Kemp, Sonia Gensler, Saundra Mitchell, Myra McEntire, and Megan Shepherd.
