I’m so glad to hear about Moira Young! I loved Blood Red Road! And thanks for keeping me informed about so many wonderful books. My TBR list keeps getting longer and longer!
Not gonna lie, I’m not really thrilled about the redesign of the Curse Workers covers. Don’t get me wrong, they look cool—but they don’t seem to fit the noir-ish tone of the books. They seem all wrong to me, which is too bad, because I do legitimately like the design. Just…why these books?
Loving the City of Lost Souls cover, and so unspeakably excited for The Fault in Our Stars. The trailer is truly wonderful, and I love how it manages to be intriguing without actually telling you really anything about the book.
Thanks for all the news!
OHMIGOSH! PRETTY COVER! Sorry, I’m not talking about the CoLS one. BUT THE ONE WITH THE ASIAN GIRL ON THE COVER! ASIAN! *proud face*
I’m actually with Lucy and not a huge fan of the new Holly Black covers for the exact same reason she sited–while stylistic, the new covers really wouldn’t have been enough for me to pick the book off the shelf and read the blurb if I hadn’t already known Holly was the author.
But I will say I’m so excited to read the new John Green book! Nerdfighters forever!!!!
Smiles!
