Hourglass by Myra McEntire: Jewelry from the Book

Hourglass by Myra McEntire has only been out for just over a week, but if you’ve read it, then you know there is some significant jewelry mentioned in the book. And if you haven’t read it — well, now you know.

So today, we want to feature some online artists who have created jewelry (knowingly or otherwise) that pretty much matches the pieces featured in the book. (Thanks to Myra & Heather at FireIcePhotos for originally tracking some of these guys down).

I opened my hand to a shiny duronium ring with a row of interlocking connected hand carved infinity symbols encircling the band.

Renaissance Jewelry on Etsy actually has multiple versions of an infinity ring, much like the one described in Hourglass. Here are a few pictures:

He reached into his pocket before placing something in my hand and carefully curling my fingers around it. When he left, I opened my palm. It was a silver circle engraved with the word hope.

Several Etsy artists have created necklaces featuring such a “hope” disc. Here are a few samples:
