The Contest:
Put on your creative writing caps, my friends! This month’s writing contest is all about fiction! Yes, we want you to write a Wither-inspired short story!
In Wither, teen girls are often kidnapped and sold into polygamous marriages for the sake of bearing children. So image you’ve been thrust into such a situation. How would you react? Would you try to escape, and risk certain death? Would you quietly rebel? Would you fall in love with your husband? What can YOU think up for such a situation?
And in the world of Wither, girls only live until age 20, and guys only live until age 25 … so consider that food for thought as you get writing.
Fill out the Novel Novice Wither Writing Contest Entry Form, include the important info & your short story for a chance to win!

The Prizes:
Three (3) winners will each receive a Wither prize pack, including a finished copy of Wither and a few other surprise goodies — courtesy of Simon & Schuster!

Does it necessarily have to follow if WE were the ones kidnapped? Or could this be any kind of short story based on Wither?
It doesn’t have to be YOU, per se, but it should be written in first person based on the scenario suggested above.
Why can’t we enter if we’re not American?
