The Saturday Post: Jace, Cassel, Patch & other news

* Check EW’s Shelf Life site today through Tuesday for book trailers & other goodies for Cassandra Clare’s City of Fallen Angels — in stores on Tuesday! Anybody else doing a power re-reading of the first three Mortal Instruments books this weekend to get ready?

(And don’t forget — also in stores Tuesday, Red Glove by Holly Black — which is FABULOUS, and we totally recommend it! And for you TMI fans … if you read Red Glove closely, you might even find a reference to your favorite bad boy Shadowhunter.)

* Speaking of The Mortal Instruments, Cassie Clare & Holly Black … check out this interview from MTV’s Hollywood Crush blog, in which Cassie & Holly talk about TMI, casting the City of Bones movie and more.

* You can also catch some HILARIOUS (and okay, a bit steamy) bloopers from the City of Fallen Angels book trailer shoot over at Mundie Moms.

* Great news for Becca Fitzpatrick! Her Hush, Hush books are being turned into graphic novels! Here are the details from the press release:

ATLANTA, GA – March 31, 2011 – Sea Lion Books announced today the acquisition of the comic book and graphic novel rights to Becca Fitzpatrick’s New York Times bestselling Young Adult novel Hush, Hush. A romance laced with intrigue, it is the story of a young girl torn between desire and suspicion in her love for a fallen angel. A true psychological thriller, Hush, Hush was the first book in a trilogy, with the story continuing in Crescendo and concluding with the forthcoming Silence, which is scheduled for release in October 2011. The series has a worldwide following, with sales of more than 1 million books in 35 countries.

The first Hush, Hush comic book is expected in stores this winter!

* Have you checked out Book Perk yet? It’s like Groupon for book lovers — and they’ve always got some fantastic deals going on. Be sure to check them out!!!
