Ladies and gentlemen, there’s a new number one this week, and I’ve never even heard of it. It’s a middle-grade book called A World Without Heroes by Brandon Mull. And you know why this rocks? Because it means eight- to twelve-year-olds are reading in big enough droves to put a book at the top of the best sellers! Way to go, tweens! 🙂

Novel Novice 
You’ve never heard of Brandon Mull? Then you’ve missed out! He’s also got a series called Fablehaven (5 books) and then The Candy Shop Wars. And a picture book but I can’t remember the name of that one cause that one I have not read yet.
Nope. *ducks head in shame* I don’t read much middle-grade stuff.
There’s actually a lot of MG books on this list — which I think ROCKS!!!!
Brandon Mull is a fantastic author. This is the first book in his new series. The Fablehaven series is one of my favorites and I am in my 30’s. lol If you are a fan of books like Harry Potter you should try Brandon’s books out. They are a lot of fun. Definitely books for more than those that are 8-12 years old. 😉
Okay, Mull is a great writer. I read all of his books (the Fablehaven series, Candy Shop Wars) the only reason they are not YA is because they don’t swear. His books are great and he is a master of words. Please read his books, you’re missing out.
