In Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, heroine Lizzie Bennett doesn’t play the piano very well. But in Elizabeth Eulberg’s Prom and Prejudice, Lizzie is practically a prodigy on scholarship for her musical abilities.
Below you’ll find all the classical pieces mentioned in Prom and Prejudice, along with a couple modern ones we thought were a great fit!
The first video is Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, 18th variation — the piece Lizzie plays for the spring recital.
Piano Concerto no.2 by Bela Bartok
Piano Concerto no. 3 by Rachmaninoff
“All the Right Moves” by OneRepublic
“She Drives Me Crazy” by Fine Young Cannibals
“Womanizer” by Britney Spears – (This one’s for Wick!)
