Prom and Prejudice by Elizabeth Eulberg: Ode to Mr. Darcy

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Boy, do we have a treat for you!

It’s no secret that I luuuuurve Mr. Darcy, in whatever incarnation. Reading Elizabeth Eulberg’s retelling, Prom and Prejudice, I couldn’t help wondering who would play her Will Darcy if a film version was made. Although I could totally get carried away with fantasy casting, the only person I could think of was that hot guy in the Taylor Swift video for “Love Story.” You know, the one who’s dressed up like a Regency-era hottie? Tall, dark, handsome? (Remind you of anyone?) His name is Justin Gaston, an actor, model and singer linked to Miley Cyrus.

This got me thinking about my other favorite Darcy, Matthew Mcfadyen. But then there are the die-hard Colin Firth fans, too. What’s a fangirl to do? Make a montage, of course!

Below you’ll find some of the all-time best Mr. Darcies, and a poll to tell us your favorite Darcy!

  1. I love Matthew Macfadyen as Mr. Darcy, mostly because I enjoyed watching him in MI-5. I like Colin Firth too, but it’s hard to drool over a guy who’s old enough to be my father.
