* First things first — awesome author (& our good friend) Lisa Schroeder revealed the cover for her new, upcoming YA book, The Day Before. Here’s the shiny cover & official synopsis:

Sometimes there’s no turning back.
Amber’s life is spinning out of control. All she wants is to turn up the volume on her iPod until all of the demands of her family and friends fade away. So she sneaks off to the beach to spend a day by herself.
Then Amber meets Cade. Their attraction is instant, and Amber can tell that he’s also looking for an escape. Together they decide to share a perfect day: no pasts, no fears, no regrets.
The more time that Amber spends with Cade, the more she’s drawn to him. And the more she’s troubled by his darkness. Because Cade’s not just living in the now–he’s living each moment like it’s his last.

It comes out in June 2011 & we can’t wait!

* For all you Hunger Games fans out there, Gary Ross (Seabiscuit, Pleasantville) is in final talks to direct the movie adaptation!

* Don’t forget to head over to the Avant Garde Fan Fiction Awards to nominate your pics for Twilight Saga fan fiction!

* He may be the world’s favorite spy, but Mr. 007 himself started life as a character in a series of novels before he hit it big on the silver screen. So we’re really excited about news that James Bond 23 (obviously a working title) is tentatively set for release in 2012. Production had been in limbo due to the financial problems facing studio MGM.In case you’re wondering, Daniel Craig is back as Bond for the latest film.

* We can’t WAIT for the new Harry Potter movie (so much so, you may have noticed that our homepage banner got a little temporary makeover leading up to the Nov. 19th release) — and we absolutely ADORE the “join the fight” posters made by our friends at Next Movie. Check ’em out & tell us which one is your favorite!
