Book Buzz & Book Trailer: Matched by Ally Condie

We are really excited for the upcoming release of Matched by Ally Condie — the first book in a new dystopian series. And if you watch this new book trailer, you might understand why:

I was lucky enough to read an advanced copy of Matched, and I can’t say enough nice things about this book. It’s got a lot of the same elements that I loved about The Hunger Games — while still standing out as a unique entry in the dystopian genre. (And I’ll have my official review closer to the pub date.)

The book comes out November 30th, but you can have some fun getting “matched” yourself at the book’s official website.

Here’s more about Matched:

In the Society, Officials decide. Who you love. Where you work. When you die.

Cassia has always trusted their choices. It’s barely any price to pay for a long life, the perfect job, the ideal mate. So when her best friend appears on the Matching screen, Cassia knows with complete certainty that he is the one . . . until she sees another face flash for an instant before the screen fades to black. Now Cassia is faced with impossible choices: between Xander and Ky, between the only life she’s known and a path no one else has ever dared follow—between perfection and passion.

And if that’s not enough, here’s a few more “breathless” book titles to pique your interest:

  1. I to had the chance to read an advance copy and was hooked by the first to chapters. It does play a lot or sound a lot like the Hunger Games with its own uniqueness.

    It was a great read.
