The Saturday Post is your weekly update about news in the YA book world. Today, we begin with a bit of shameless self-promotion … and I confess, I’m still on a bit of Cloud 9 about this first item:
* Publisher’s Weekly featured Wordstock Festival in its Children’s newsletter this week — highlighting many of the children’s & YA authors at the festival, along with a photo featuring Becca Fitzpatrick, Lisa Schroeder, L.K. Madigan and ME (in my role as a Wordstock author coordinator). Yeah, I was definitely doing a major happy dance after discovering this:

* Have questions about Cassandra Clare’s Clockwork Angel and her Infernal Devices series? She’s got answers in a new ID-themed FAQ post.
* Over at my Hunger Games Examiner article, I interviewed actress Jodelle Ferland about why she’s a fan of The Hunger Games and her hopes for the movie adaptation:
* Speaking of The Hunger Games, NextMovie has found at least one actress reading the movie script
* One of our favorite authors (and a really nice guy) Kaleb Nation is splitting his time right now between his own book tour for Bran Hambric: The Specter Key and filming a documentary about the book tour for Beautiful Darkness by Kami Garcia & Margie Stohl. Kaleb just posted part 1 and it’s excellent:
(And stay tuned this month for your chance to win a SIGNED copy of Kaleb’s newest book!)
* Rebecca Maizel has revealed the cover to Stolen Nights, the second book in her Vampire Queen series and the sequel to Infinite Days. I don’t know about you, but I think this cover is gorgeous:

* Speaking of vampire novels … head over to MTV Hollywood Crush to check out the trailer for Misguided Angel by Melissa de la Cruz.

Love Kaleb’s first installment and I love the new cover for Rebecca Maizel’s new book. Can’t wait to read it!
It’s lovely!
