Today, we’re kicking off our second contest for our August Book of the Month, this time focusing on The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. (We’ve already got a great steampunk contest going for her new book, Clockwork Angel!) So without further ado, here’s the new contest — which Cassie herself came up with!
The Contest:
Imagine one of the Mortal Instruments characters joined Twitter. What would they say in 140 characters?
Write a 140-character “Tweet” from any of the Mortal Instruments characters.
The Prizes:
Three (3) winners will each receive a set of The Mortal Instruments series, courtesy of Simon & Schuster
The Rules:
- Prizes can only be mailed to the U.S.
- Please use proper grammar & spelling
- Characters should be from The Mortal Instruments series
- Winners will be chosen based on creativity & originality
- Make sure you indicate which character you’re “tweeting” as
The Deadline:
All entries are due by midnight (PT) on August 31st
