Today, Cassandra Clare hosted a live chat and announced some big news: she’s writing two MORE books in The Mortal Instruments series:
City of Lost Souls (Spring 2012)
City of Heavenly Fire (Fall 2013)
These will follow City of Fallen Angels, which comes out in Spring 2011 and are in addition to the three planned books in The Infernal Devices series (prequels to The Mortal Instruments — the first book, Clockwork Angel, is our current Book of the Month and comes out August 31st.)
The news is so hot, it isn’t posted anywhere online quite yet — but we’re sure the news will be added soon to Cassie’s official website.
