Introducing I Heart You, You Haunt Me by Lisa Schroeder

Each week during our April Book of the Month, we’re featuring a different book from author Lisa Schroeder. This week, we’re focusing on I Heart You, You Haunt Me. Let’s start the week by telling you more about the book:

Girl meets boy.

Girl loses boy.

Girl gets boy back…

…sort of.

Ava can’t see him or touch him, unless she’s dreaming. She can’t hear hisvoice, except for the faint whispers in her mind. Most would think she’scrazy, but she knows he’s here.

Jackson. The boy Ava thought she’d spend the rest of her life with. He’s back from the dead, as proof that love truly knows no bounds.

  1. I read this recently–only like a week ago, I think–and fell in love with Ava’s character. You can understand her pain, her initial attraction to Jackson, and her loyalty to her best friend. She knew she had to let go in order to really move on, and she had a very understanding attitude towards the outcome in the end.

  2. I read this book a while ago and I actually own it. It’s such a short, simple, but sweet book. Learning to let go is difficult but this book proves you can do it, no matter how hard the circumstances.
