Today, we’ve got your guide to some of the coolest Alice in Wonderland merchandise available now to tie-in with the movie!
Their online store features a variety of Alice in Wonderland merchandise for the new film, including some really cool shirts and jewelry from their Disney Couture collection. These pieces run a little pricey sometimes, but they are true collectors items and really stand out from your typical movie merchandise. Some notable items include the Swarovski crystal jewelry and some really cool handbags.
There are also products available in Disney’s more affordable line, including their popular “create-your-own” designs, where you can choose the color of your item (shirt, bag, etc.) and the specific artwork you want on it, from a collection provided by Disney.
Disney also has an ever rotating collection of merchandise related to its classic 1951 animated version of Alice in Wonderland. This still includes some really beautiful signature pieces — including some from the Disney Couture collection — as well as a bevy of products perfect for kids.
Hot Topic & its sister store Torrid both have a delightful collection of Alice in Wonderland merchandise — including clothing, bags, wallets, jewelry, calendars, accessories, and lots more, all with a touch of whimsy. The t-shirt designs are all really clever and cool looking; they’re more like graphic art than a movie tee. And some of the accessories are really cool. I especially love their “Drink Me” necklaces. They also feature goodies for some of your favorite characters: Alice, The Queen of Hearts, the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat and more! They also feature a replica of the “Brass Bird” necklace that Alice wears in the movie. Here’s a sampling of some of my other favorites:
A bevy of Alice in Wonderland merchandise is now showing up in Disney Parks across the country, including Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif. and Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Though it’s impossible to track down all of the theme park merchandise, here’s a list of some of what the parks are offering:
- Tim Burton-inspired Mad Hatter Hat
- Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum Adult Tee
- Mad Hatter Throw
- Red Queen Mug with “creepy” handle
- Red Queen Hybrid Satchel
- ACME Animation Licensed Film Cels featuring the Mad Hatter and Alice, among others
- Curiouser and Curiouser Limited Edition Mixed-Media Paper Sculpture by Dave Avanzino
- Open and Limited Edition Pins
- Red Queen Checkbook Wallet
- Disney Theme Park Merchandise “Alice in Wonderland” Jewelry Collection by Classic Hardware (available in mid-March)
Here’s one theme park exclusive I’ve heard about that I’m already coveting: Limited Edition Alice in Wonderland Mickey Mouse Ears:
The makeup gurus at Paul & Joe have come up with some adorable and whimsical packaging for their Alice in Wonderland collection. You can browse the products online — which include lip color, blotting tissues and palettes. But it’s not clear when the products will be available for purchase in stores. Varies by location.
Tucked inside a hidden drawer are 16 best-selling Eyeshadows, given topsy-turvy names like White Rabbit, Jabberwocky, and Oraculum. Alongside them lie travel sizes of Eyeshadow Primer Potion and two 24/7 Eye Pencils. From smoky neutral eyes to flashes of hallucinogenic green and purple, the looks you can create are as endless as the rabbit hole itself. The top opens to reveal a pop-up scene of Alice in the mushroom forest. Her “drink me” bottle discarded, she staggers past towering mushrooms, only to cross paths with a very peculiar, hookah-smoking caterpillar. A large mirror rests behind the scene, making you feel as if you are transported into the film itself.
The crafters at Etsy are a veritable treasure trove of cool and unique products, and quick search turns up dozens of pages of products related to Alice in Wonderland — everything from jewelry, clothing, bags, MP3 covers, wallets, purses, makeup, home decor, textiles, and more.
This is also a great place to search for Alice pieces featuring your favorite illustrations — including the charming classic line drawings, Disney’s animated version and the new Tim Burton version — plus a few other fun variations.
