There’s a place with individual cabins built out over the ocean, with clear glass (or possibly resin) in the floor, so that you can look down at the sea from your room. I’d like to go there. Or pretty much anywhere close to the sea.

The sad truth is that I have been working on the sofa in the living room and not at my desk at all! Within reach: a copy of WHITE CAT that came in the mail today telling me that there was a 4th printing of the paperback; my e-reader; my marked up manuscript of DOLL BONES for editing; the books SCARLET by A.C. Gaughen and ALIF THE UNSEEN by G. Willow Wilson, both of which I am very much looking forward to reading; and a copy of the talk I am going to be giving on Wednesday.
