Today we bring you the final part of our three-part interview with Sonia Gensler, author of The Revenant. Be sure to check out part 1 and part 2, then read our flash questions with Sonia below:
If they made a Sonia Gensler candle, what would it smell like?
Either coconut and almond . . . or oatmeal and cinnamon. I like dessert smells.
Favorite cartoon?
“South Park”
Chocolate or vanilla?
Chocolate – in particular, Scharffen Berger’s Nibby Dark Chocolate.
Your personal theme song?
If I’m in a writing mood, it might be “The Ghost Pavane” from the film CREATION. The song suits my historical/gothic mindset. But if I want to sing at the top of my lungs, I might choose . . . oh, something from Duran Duran, because I never get tired of them! (Yes, I’m showing my age.)
You’re on a deserted island and have to read one book for the rest of your life. What is it?
Jane Eyre
Favorite book as a child?
The Little Fur Family or Bread and Jam for Frances
Secret talent?
Spotting English character actors in TV shows, films and plays. I usually know their names, but if I don’t, I could tell you at least three other TV shows or films I’ve seen them in.
I know Kim Harrington claims a similar talent. I suggest she and I do an actor spotting face-off. People could place wagers, and the proceeds would go to charity. I’m throwing down the gauntlet, Kim!
Thanks, Sonia! And Kim … when will we see this throw-down?
Bring it on, Sonia! 🙂
