Today, we were saddened to hear about the sudden passing of beloved Harry Potter actor Alan Rickman — aka Severus Snape. His family said he died from cancer; he was 69.
I think it’s safe to say that Rickman’s fans included the entire Harry Potter fandom community, as his perfect and moving portrayal of Snape in the eight films was truly beloved. (I am still moved to tears EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I watch his scenes in the last film.)
