To celebrate our September 2014 Book of the Month, we’re kicking off a seaside writing contest!
Salt & Storm takes place on a New England island during the downturn of the whaling industry in the late 19th century. To celebrate, we want you to write your own story that takes place in a seaside location.
Write a 250-500 word piece of flash fiction that takes place in a seaside locale. That’s the only requirement! It can be any genre – but the setting must be someplace by the ocean.
Submit your 250-500 word story using the entry form here.
The Prize
One winner will receive a copy of Salt & Storm courtesy of Little Brown.
