*Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl announced this week that they will be releasing an e-book based on their Beautiful Creatures series:
The e-book is set to release on August 2 for $1.99, and will be available for download across all digital platforms.
This all-new story focuses on the fan-favorite character Link who undergoes a heart-racing transformation. Wounded during a climactic battle, Link slowly realizes that being bitten by a Supernatural does more than break the skin—it can change a person, inside and out, turning him into a creature more and more like the dark creature who injured him. As a special bonus, DREAM DARK will include an exclusive sneak peek at the first five chapters of BEAUTIFUL CHAOS.
*Emma Watson talked to MTV recently about working on The Perks of Being a Wallflower:
“We’ve been shooting for, like, two weeks now, and we have three weeks left,” Emma told MTV News. “It’s been great. I’m having the time of my life. I really am having a very, very good summer.”
We’re also working with Summit Entertaiment to bring you some exclusive content from the movie adaptation of The Perks of Being a Wallflower, so be sure to hope on over to this post to leave your questions for the cast & crew!
*MTV also talked to Lily Collins about the casting of Jamie Campell Bower as Jace in the upcoming movie adaptation of The Mortal Instruments:
“I’m really excited. I think we literally, we found our Jace that day,” she said of Jamie’s audition. “I’m really, really excited, he’s a really talented guy. He’s very enthusiastic about the role too, which is really awesome. I ended up doing a read with him and a read with a couple other people, and the second we had the audition, I think everyone knew that he had that quality of Jace and he nailed it.”

* Some book news from The Goddess Test author Aimee Carter:
The good news is that Masked, the first book in my new dystopian series, will be released in Fall 2012 (as it stands right now, it’s an October 2012 release, which translates into late September). I am SUPER excited about everyone getting to read it – I wrote it right after The Goddess Test, and I’ve been antsy ever since to get it out into the world. I love the characters in this story like nothing else, and I can’t wait to have the opportunity to share their story with you.
The not-so-good news is that the release of Goddess Interrupted has been pushed back to April 2012 (a late March 2012 release). I know, I know, you have to wait another two months, I’m sorry! I have zero control, and I’m eager for you to get the chance to read it too. In this case, however, it was done because the powers that be believe it to be the best scheduling for the sequel, and some great opportunities come along with it. Vague, but bottom line is, this is actually a good thing. A really good thing.
