J.K. Rowling to discuss Harry Potter, her career & her writing

It’s less than two months now until the theatrical release of Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows (Part 1) — and Pottermania is starting to ramp back up again. I, for one, and totally psyched — and my mom & I are already making our plans to see it in mega IMAX 3D at midnight! (Yes, I inherited my nerdiness.)

But in the entire Potter universe, there is one Muggle who really is (and always will be #1) — and that is J.K. Rowling herself. We haven’t heard much from her lately, but she’ll be on Oprah this Friday to talk about Harry Potter, the rise to fame, what she’s working on now and if she’ll ever write about Harry again:

In the interview, which took place in Edinburgh, Scotland, Rowling shares with Oprah about her life and career as well as how she became one of the most recognizable writers of children’s literature today. Rowling, who rarely does interviews (so can you imagine how psyched we book-nerds are?!?!), also shares her thoughts on the possibility of ever writing another Harry Potter book in the future.
