Creative Writing Prompt #12
Cancel It Out
Curiosity created the poet. And you begin to satisfy curiosity by asking questions.
So write a poem composed entirely of questions. Choose a person you’re asking them of and write to them, without actually saying you’re writing to them.
Or ask questions of various people, perhaps changing the person you’re asking question of in every stanza.
Or what would your questions look like if you were asking them of a person who’s passed on? If you were asking them of an inanimate object (book, plant, stuffed animal, guitar, what have you)?
Experiment with various forms to determine which form best serves the theme of this poem.
