The CW has renewed The Vampire Diaries for another season! The show is based on L.J. Smith’s best-selling series. The latest volume in the books — The Vampire Diaries: The Return: Shadow Souls — comes out March 16th.
Meanwhile, the CW series is currently on hiatus until March 25th, when the final 8 episodes of the first season will air during back-to-back weeks.
