It’s time to catch up on recent contest winners … and I’m going all the way back to January for some of these. (You know, back before I was married? What!) Thanks, as always, for your patience. And for any prizes I’ll be mailing out myself, expect them to go out in May. Now, on with the winners!
To celebrate the release of Enders by Lissa Price, we gave away a copy of Starters, the first book in this two-book series — and asked you to tell us whose body would you want to take over for a day and why. The winner is: Paola Benavides and here is her entry:
If I had to take over anyone’s body for one day, I would choose my grandmother. This sounds a little bizarre but I think it would be really interesting. I would not only understand her better but I would also have an idea of what it feels like to get to that age. I think being aware of the toll age takes on your body is priceless. I also feel like we rarely think of getting old and what the future is going to be like so I couldn’t pass this one up. It would be such an eye-opening experience that I can’t even think about choosing someone else.
