You Decide: The 2013 YA Desktop Wallpaper Calendar

It’s almost time for me to start working on the desktop wallpaper calendars for 2013. These wallpapers take a long time to make and are quite a bit of work, but they are also very fun to make — and I know you guys love them! (See the 2012 calendar here!)

While I have some ideas of what I want to include in this year’s calendar, there are more requests than I can meet for the full 12-month calendar. So I’m giving you a chance to voice your opinion on what you want to see.

Below, is a poll for you to vote on your favorite YA books that you’d like to see in next year’s desktop wallpaper calendar. You can choose up to six! For “other,” please leave a comment below with your pick.

  1. Shadow and Bone
    by Leigh Bardugo
Because I am obsessed with it and it’s going to be a movie! :D

  2. the matched series
    The Wake Series
    The nightshade series

  3. What about some Lux series wallpapers? From Jennifer L. Armentrout’s Lux series.

  4. The Soul Screamers, The Iron Fey, The Tiger’s Curse and The Seven Realms are all must haves for me. Including my choices above…that would be a phenomenal calendar!

  5. The Lux series by Jennifer L Armentrout.

  6. Where She Went by Gayle Foreman
Movie shots from the Great Gatsby ??

  7. Mara Dyer

  8. Percy Jackson! There is the movie and the books and the new movie is going into theaters in March!

  9. Iron Fey, Matched, Daughter of Smoke and Bone

  10. Just to combine a couple of suggestions from above I would love Iron Fey, Percy Jackson, and Soul Screamers – maybe Everneath by Brodi Ashton (book 2 is due soon)?

I know you put a lot of hard work into the calendars and I hope you don’t take offense, but could you make the calendar portion of the wallpaper a little larger than on the 2012 series? Some months it was rather difficult to make out the actual dates :)

I’ll see what I can do — and no offense taken! Nicely worded, constructive criticism is always welcome. :)

  11. The Flower Shop Mystery Series, The Mediator Series

  12. The Flower Shop Mystery Series, The Mediator Series.

No offense but I agree with Erin about the size of the calendars
