Zombies vs. Unicorns: Holly Black’s Flash Questions

Yesterday we brought you our exclusive interview with Holly Black, the Team Unicorn editor for the new book Zombies vs. Unicorns. (Team Zombie editor Justine Larbelestier was unable to answer our Q’s because of a hand/shoulder injury. Insert frowny face here.) But today, we have the second half of our interview with Holly — as she answers the traditional Novel Novice Flash Questions!

If you could trade places with one person for a single day, who would it be & why?

Actually, I often think what it would be like to trade places with my past self — my teenage self — for a day.  I wonder if she would be relieved or horrified by my life now.  And I often think of things I could have done differently back then.  But in novels (and movies) time travel never works out.

What was the last movie you saw?

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World – and it was amazing!

Biggest TV addiction?

True Blood.

Guilty pleasure?

Reading lots and lots of design blogs (Steampunk Home is one of my favorites).

Fruits or veggies?

Fruits.  Especially oranges, cherries, and watermelon.

Karaoke song?

My feelings about karaoke are not unlike my feelings about zombies.

Favorite childhood toy?

A stuffed black cat named Thomasina.

Thanks once again to Holly! Tune in tomorrow for the conclusion of Zombies vs. Unicorns Week!

  2. OK, I checked it out — I’m doing our spare bedroom in steampunk! Suggestions?
